When it comes to selecting the right trailer for your needs, the amount of choice available can turn a simple job into a tough decision. However, the Towmate range of trailers, available exclusively from ATE UK, represent exception quality at an affordable price, making them ideally suited for regular and occasional users alike.

Why Towmate Trailers?

Every Towmate trailer in the range is fully type approved by the Vehicle Certification Agency, meaning the quality and build and engineering has been independently assessed. Towmate trailers are robustly designed with a fully-welded chassis.

Each trailer is also subjected to hot-dip galvanisation, a superior method of corrosion protection, which means your Towmate trailer will retain its good looks even after many years of service.

All 1800kg axles on Towmate trailers are constructed using a box section that is 20mm thicker than the industry standard. This means Towmate trailers have the strongest axles in the market. They also utilise positive camber and toe-in, meaning that the front wheels point slightly towards the centreline of the vehicle, which provides more even tyre wear and a smoother ride.

Which type of trailer should I choose?

Our range of trailers includes models for all types of applications. Whether you work in the construction industry, need to transport plant machinery, or whether you need to move around garden waste or equipment, you’ll find the ideal Towmate trailer.

Every trailer we supply is specifically made to order, allowing you to choose the custom features that most suit your intended usage. Our friendly team of experts can provide you with detailed advice about the various options and help you choose the type of trailer that best meets your needs.

Flatbed trailers

Flatbed trailers are enormously versatile and can cope with the demands of anything your business can throw that them. From roofing tiles and drive-on lawn mowers to building supplies and garden furniture, flatbed trailers can cope under all duress.

Drive-On trailers

If you need to transport or recover vehicles, especially that have an extremely low ground clearance, a drive-on trailer is an ideal choice. It offers all the benefits of a traditional flatbed model, but the platform tilts to allow loading to take place with the minimum of effort.

Plant trailers

Plant users and plant hire firms will benefit from a plant trailer that is specifically designed to transport plant machinery, combining safety and security with quick and easy loading abilities for maximum efficiency.

Tipper trailers

If you need to transport building materials, such as sand, from one location to another, a tipper trailer will allow you to deposit your delivery in a fraction of the time it would take to remove it manually.

Unbraked Car trailers

Unbraked car trailers are the ideal low-cost entry point for occasional users who move small loads. Enormously versatile and easy to use, they allow you to carry items such as tents and other camping equipment without having to take up space in your car. Once you have one, you'll wonder how you ever managed without it.

Do bear in mind that there are strict regulations about the weight of the load that an unbraked trailer is able to carry on public roads. Our customer service team will be able to provide you with advice about whether such a model is suitable.

Rolling chassis

A robust and reliable solution to your generator, pump and compressor transportation needs, the Towmate Rolling Chassis range includes models with or without brakes as well as single and tandem axles.

Can ATE provide parts for my trailer?

At ATE UK we know that whichever type of trailer you purchase, you will enjoy many years of reliable service. If, however, you require any spare parts we stock a comprehensive range that will let you keep your trailer in top condition.
